Next, you are acknowledged into the Indonesian educational institute, and you have to appeal for a Study Permit from the Ministry of Education in Indonesia. Since at this point, you may still be out of the country, your University must assist you with the appeal procedure and issue your certificate of acceptance. Later the Ministry of Education delivered the Study Permit. They will forward it to the Immigration Department Head Office in Jakarta so that they can issue your visa. The Immigration Department sends the letter to the Indonesian Embassy, where you aim to apply for your entry visa (VITAS). The documents you require when you apply for a Study Permit from the Ministry of Education contain:
- Three photocopies of your passport
- A photocopy of the Reference Letter delivered by your University
- A photocopy of your Letter of Acceptance
- The finalized appeal form.
- A Letter of Reference from the Indonesian Embassy in your nation of residence.
- A photocopy of your academic record
- Your resume
- Two passport-sized photos
- A Letter of Financial Guarantee or a sponsorship credential which verifies you can cover your study and living costs.
- Health certificate
