Overview
The Transit Schengen Permit is a document that has been recognized by the Schengen Zone Fellow Nations with the only determination of easing travelling for non-EU/EEA citizens who have to land at an airport situated in the Schengen Zone, in demand to take a flight to their non-Schengen destination nation. The document allows its owner to transit via a Schengen country to their non-Schengen destination state, without exiting the transit zone of the airport. But, tourists that require to land in further than one airport of the Schengen area must apply for a regular Schengen permit, as a substitute of a Transit Schengen permit. If the tourist is going to a Schengen member nation, i.e. in Finland, and has to transit via another Schengen country, i.e. Germany, then there is no requirement to get a Transit Visa, as the Schengen visa already authorizes the tourist to arrive any Schengen nation.
